Your inputs
Pull these numbers directly from the lead trader's profile page on Bitunix, BTCC, or MEXC.
Estimated outcome
Based on the trader's recent ROI continuing at the same pace. Real results will vary.
What this calculator is doing under the hood
The formula
Step 1. Convert the trader's ROI into a daily growth rate: daily_rate = (1 + ROI%) ^ (1/period_days) − 1.
Step 2. Project your capital forward: final_balance = capital × (1 + daily_rate) ^ projection_days.
Step 3. Subtract trading fees: fees = capital × num_trades × fee_rate.
Step 4. Calculate gross profit, then deduct profit-sharing: net = gross × (1 − profit_share%).
Why projecting at "the same pace" can be misleading
A 10% 7-day return projected over a year is +47,750% — clearly unrealistic. Most lead traders' ROI flattens or reverses over time. Use shorter projection windows (30–90 days) and treat anything beyond that as a fantasy figure unless the trader has a multi-year track record. The drawdown calculator shows the other side of this coin.
What's the typical profit-sharing fee?
On Bitunix, BTCC, and MEXC most lead traders set their profit-sharing ratio between 10% and 30%. The screenshot example we used shows 30%, which is a common ceiling. Some traders go as low as 10% to attract more followers — usually those still building a track record.
Where do I find these numbers on a copy trading platform?
On Bitunix, click any lead trader card to open their Performance dashboard. ROI and profit-sharing ratio are shown at the top. BTCC and MEXC show the same metrics but the layout differs slightly. Copy the 30D ROI for the most balanced read — 7D is too noisy, 90D can hide recent drawdowns.
